She says: “Pushing production to maximum efficiency while maintaining food safety and quality in the modern dairy processing plant places heavy demands not only on personnel and equipment, but also on the oils and greases that provide the necessary lubrication throughout production. In addition, when it comes to lubrication of applications the environment for dairy processing, with its extreme heat and freezing temperatures, poses considerable challenges.
Lubricants have to be able to withstand the demanding conditions whilst maximising equipment performance, efficiency and productivity. To this end, synthetic lubricants offer a much better solution than mineral oils which often compromise some functionality and quality aspects in order to comply with food safety regulations. Synthetic oils are formulated according to balanced formulations of base oils and additives tailored to the application.”
